Orders & payments
6 questionsWhat payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and other major credit and debit cards via our secure payment processor. Apple Pay and Google Pay are available at checkout where supported by your device.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes. All payments are processed through a PCI-DSS compliant processor. We never see or store your full card details — the processor handles encryption end-to-end.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
If your order hasn't entered processing yet, we can cancel or modify it — contact us immediately with your order number.
Once we've started printing customisations or packing your order, changes aren't possible.
I didn't receive an order confirmation. What now?
Order confirmations are sent within minutes of payment. If you don't see one:
- Check your spam/junk folder
- Verify the email address you used at checkout
- Contact us with your name and approximate order time, and we'll resend it
Do you offer discounts or promo codes?
We run sales seasonally and during major football events. Sign up for our newsletter or follow us on social media for early access. Only one promo code can be used per order.
Can I order in a different currency?
Our prices display in GBP by default but can be switched at the bottom of any page. Your card is charged in your bank's currency — conversion is handled by your bank at their rate.

After your order ships (2–4 business days processing), delivery estimates are:
- United Kingdom: 8–12 business days
- Europe: 8–15 business days
- USA / Canada: 10–15 business days
- Asia / Oceania: 15 business days
- Africa / South America: 15+ business days

Do you ship worldwide?
Yes. We ship to most countries via tracked international courier. A small list of regions we don't currently serve will be shown at checkout if your address falls outside our delivery network.
How much does shipping cost?
Standard shipping is free on every order, regardless of destination or value. Express shipping is available at checkout for an additional fee, typically delivering in 3–5 business days worldwide.
How do I track my order?
The moment your order ships, you'll get an email with a tracking number and link. You can also track via our tracking page or your account dashboard.
Will I have to pay customs or import duties?
Orders shipped outside the UK may be subject to customs duties or import taxes imposed by your country. These aren't included in our shipping cost and are the recipient's responsibility. We declare parcels at full value as required by law — we cannot mark items as gifts.
My parcel is delayed. What should I do?
If your parcel is significantly delayed (10+ business days past our upper estimate), contact us with your order number. We'll work with the courier to investigate. For lost parcels, we either reship or refund in full once the investigation closes.
Returns & refunds
5 questionsWhat is your return window?
You have 14 days from delivery to request a return. The clock starts the day your tracking shows the parcel delivered.
What is the defect-free guarantee?
If your kit arrives with a manufacturing defect, the wrong design, or measurements significantly off our published size chart, we'll make it right — refund, replacement, or exchange, your choice.
Can I return a customised kit?
Customised items (with printed names, numbers, or badges) are non-returnable except in cases of printing defects or items shipped in error. This is because customisations are permanent and the kit can't be resold.
How do I start a return?
Email support@thenewkits.com within 14 days of delivery with:
- Your order number
- Photos of the issue (for defects or wrong items)
- Whether you prefer refund, replacement, or exchange
We'll respond within one business day with return instructions.
How long do refunds take?
Once your return arrives and passes inspection, we process refunds within 3–5 business days. Refunds go back to the original payment method. Bank or card processing on your end can add 2–10 more business days before the refund appears on your statement.
Customisation
5 questionsCan I add a name and number to my kit?
Yes — we offer name and number printing on most kits. Choose the option on the product page before adding to cart. We use heat-transfer or sublimation depending on the kit fabric, in the official league font where available.
How long does customisation add to processing?
Customisation adds 1–2 business days to processing. So a customised order ships in 3–6 business days instead of 2–4.
Can I add a team badge or sponsor patch?
Where available, league or competition badges (Premier League, Champions League, La Liga, etc.) can be added during the season they apply to. Sponsor patches and special-edition badges are offered case-by-case depending on availability.
I made a typo on my customisation. Can I fix it?
If your order hasn't entered printing yet, contact us immediately. Once printing has started, changes aren't possible — customised items can't be returned or modified after the fact.
Can I have a custom non-player name?
Yes — you can put any name you like, subject to a reasonableness check (we reserve the right to refuse offensive language, trademark infringements, or anything we judge inappropriate). Length is typically limited to 12 characters depending on the kit.
Account & login
5 questionsDo I need an account to place an order?
No — you can check out as a guest. An account is optional but saves your addresses and order history for next time.
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
Go to the login page and click "Lost your password?" Enter your email and we'll send you a reset link. Check your spam folder if it doesn't arrive within a few minutes.
How do I update my account details?
Log into your account dashboard and use the "Addresses" or "Account details" tabs to update your information.
Can I delete my account?
Yes — email support@thenewkits.com requesting account deletion. We'll remove your data, keeping only what we're legally required to retain (e.g. order records for tax). See our privacy policy for details.
Can I view my past orders?
Yes — log into your account and the "Orders" tab shows your complete order history, current order status, and lets you re-order favourites in one click.
Products & sizing
6 questionsHow do I find the right size?
Check our size guide for measurements by kit type. Football kits typically fit close to body measurements with a sport cut. If you're between sizes, we recommend sizing up for a comfortable fit.
Are your kits authentic?
We stock officially-licensed kits from established manufacturers. Every kit goes through hand inspection before dispatch to verify quality — sizing, stitching, materials, badge placement.
Do you have player versions and fan versions?
Yes — where available we offer both. Player versions are the on-pitch spec (lighter fabric, slim cut, performance technology). Fan versions are the high-street release (relaxed cut, durable fabric, ideal for everyday wear).
Do you sell kids and women's sizes?
Yes — many of our kits come in kids and women's cuts. Look for the size selector on the product page. Our size guide includes kids and women's measurements.
A kit I want is out of stock. Will it come back?
Sometimes — we replenish popular kits when manufacturers restock. Use the "Notify me" button on the product page to get an email the moment it's back. Limited and special-edition kits may not return after they sell out.
Do you carry retro / classic kits?
