According to the Athletic, Arsenal held conversations about signing Alvaro Morata in January. But the Spanish international was already on the verge of joining Galatasaray and he completed his move to the Super Lig from AC Milan. Meanwhile, Sergio Busquets reportedly turned down an offer to reunite with Pep Guardiola at Manchester City on a short-term basis. The pair enjoyed huge success together at Barcelona and Guardiola wanted the midfielder to cover for Rodri.
