The transfer window has closed for every top European league but planning will already be all underway for the summer window. Teams are working tirelessly behind the scenes on identifying targets and figuring out their budgets.
Managers will be constantly assessing their squads with sporting directors and recruitment staff scanning the market for potential deals. A plethora of players will become available in the summer where clubs famously have more money to spend and aren’t as restricted by financial fair play rules. The rumour mill is beginning to pick up pace and we’ve collated some of the biggest current transfer stories.
Real Madrid are increasingly confident of securing the signature of Trent Alexander-Arnold, according to the Telegraph.The England international is out of contract at Liverpool at the end of the season and there’s no sign on Alexander-Arnold signing a new deal at his boyhood club.
Arsenal reportedly made an enquiry to sign Stoke City defender Jaden Dixon in January and will reportedly return for the starlet. The 17-year-old is highly-rated at Stoke and Arsenal want to add to their already impressive collection of talented youngsters.
Borussia Dortmund expect to sell Jamie Gittens this summer for a fee between €80m-€100m, according to Bild. The winger has been in exceptional form for Dortmund this season with Chelsea and Bayern Munich known admirers.
